troubleshooting as an engineering strength

Professional IT support has given me a production-oriented approach to solving problems in software. I regularly work from incomplete or inaccurate issue reports, ask targeted follow-up questions, reproduce failures, and trace a symptom back through logs, application behavior, databases, authentication, servers, and networks until I find the actual root cause, not just the nearest workaround. I test changes carefully, document what I find, and explain the problem and the fix in terms a nontechnical user can act on.

That habit of separating symptoms from root causes, verifying assumptions instead of guessing, and communicating clearly under pressure carries directly into how I approach building and debugging software.
